Well, after waiting for a week and half, the computer is here and is slowly getting setup. Migrating from 10.5 to 10.6 is stressful. Researching what will work on the new system and what won’t so I don’t mess up the machine and have to start over.

Sitting and watching the tracking information for my delivery today. Maybe today will be the day. I have a lot to do to get the computer back up and running.

I have a new computer on the way. I have been trying for two days to receive the package from FEDEX. But the driver hasn’t been very cooperative. Today, I was 10 feet from the door waiting and anticipating getting my computer so I can be back up and running. I heard a door slam. I went to the door. What did I see? The truck at the street, not in the driveway or at my back door or garage. He was parked on the street. The slamming of the door was him getting back in his truck and then driving away. I am so mad. I have another sticker from FEDEX to add to my collection waiting for my computer.

I seriously doubt he had any intention of delivering the package. The street is 30 yards from my front door. In order for him to deliver the package from the street he would have to get it out of his truck, put it on a hand truck and wheel it to the door. Since he didn’t do that and just slapped a sticker on my door that tells me he didn’t want to deliver it today.

I repeat, FEDEX SUCKS!
